West Heads Farm

Once we acquired West Heads we both decided we wanted to bring animals back to the farm. After some research and as luck would have it a herd of Kune Kune weaners where ready for their new homes in July of this year. With much excitement from Michelle and some initial hesitation from David we brought home three piglets who we named Bruce, Wallace and Penelope collectively known as ‘ The Pylon Pigs’ due to the locale of their home on the land.

They really are great pets. Much to everyone’s surprise they began to see how doglike they are in temperament, they enjoy attention and of course the tummy rub. Yes you can roll a piggy by giving it a tummy rub!
